	Name Dr Vincent Cistulli Position Director / General Practioner Profile I was born and schooled in Sydney and obtained my bachelor degree in medicine and surgery from Sydney University in 1996. I undertook physician training at RNS and RPA hospitals until early 2000, which was followed by a period of specialised training in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine until 2003. I obtained my specialist fellowship qualification with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. Also I have spent the last 6 years working in the field of emergency medicine in order to broaden my skill base and achieve a well rounded status as a â€˜primary careâ€™ physician both in metropolitan and rural areas. I currently sit on the board of the Hawkesberry Hills Division of General Practice as well as the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I call for repeat prescriptions or referral letters?

These will only be issued through cosultation with Dr Cistulli.

Can I call Dr Cistulli during business hours?

Our reception staff will note all incoming calls but will not interrupt Dr Cistulli if he is in consultation.

Emergencies will of course take immediate priority.

How do I receive my results?

As a a general rule please make an appointment to follow up on results. Even if results are normal it is important to follow up with Dr Cistulli to ensure you medical care is being maximised.

Do I have to make an appointment to see Dr Cistulli?

Insight Medical works on an appointment system.

A standard appointment is scheduled for 15 minutes however if you think you will need more time as you have more than one problem or the consultation is in relation to a work cover incident or work medical please ask the receptionist to book you in for a long appointment.

Appointment times are held aside each day for emergencies, sick children and same day urgent reviews.

Do i have to pay for a consult?

All patients will be BULK BILLED, however please keep in mind there are certain treatments and requests not covered by Medicare which will need to be privately billed and paid at the time of the consultation. These include work cover, insurance assessments, medicals for work, diving assessments, certain tests, particular vaccinations and surgical and cosmetic procedures.
